2_A.I with raw semen has permitted the more efficient use of stallions. Therefore mares in a farm can be syncronized in groups to be inseminated from one ejaculate and achieving less use of the stallions and indirectly ordering gestations, foaling and weaning procedures. We can also consider this technique when some mares suffer from post-mating endometritis, because this mares are more susceptible to inflammation of their uterus after semen contact and can not clear this inflamtion as soon as 6 to 7 hours as normal sound mares.

A.I also ensures the presence of semen inside the uterus, it´s evaluation each time, less uterus reaction and increases stallion eficiency.
